What’s next after wifi?

Most people don’t know that Steve was the first one who demonstrate computer connect to internet via wifi.

Since then, there is actually no magic connection. My question at the beginning of the post reminds that we’re not advancing in technology. Some says, how about 3G, 4G?
Laptop with 4G, 3G connection? Fail actually!
So, what’s next?

The laptop is supposed to be mobile. Mobile phone is supposed to be carried around. The only thing that we need to keep those things connected is they will need power.
Daily, we need to connect devices to power hub to recharge.
